Our RailStrong rail connectors give you a clean looking rail to post connection with the added strength of a rigid hollow tube inside the 2x4 rail along side fasteners.

You can use our 2x4 center guide to quickly locate the center of your 2x4 and plunge the hole saw to a depth of about 1-1/4” - just short of the length of the tube on the RailStrong connector. Tap set the tube into the end of the post and finish up with two screws.

The bottom rail connector has a four chamfered surfaces to screw through into the post. Orient your bottom rail with the edge facing upwards. You can also use the bottom rail connectors for top rails if you do not intend on using a flat 2x4 or 2x4 cap rail over top.

Hot dip galvanized and black powder coated finished for superior longevity and compatible with ACQ lumber. Uses the same innovative tube technology concept as our post anchor.

NOTE: These anchors are suitable for 50mm x 100mm NOMINAL posts, or ~40mm x 90mm actual posts. Posts that are oversized must be planed down to suitto allow  anchor insertion.
