Use with 100x100 (4"x4") wood posts on decks, stairs, patios, concrete or any other hard surfaces.

A 1.25" dia. hole saw (1-7/8" inside depth) is required to prepare post with a circular pilot cut to guide cutting edge of tube which is then driven into anchor as shown in installation video.

Not recommended for older, drier wood (m.c. 12% or less)or with knots in lower 200mm of post. Works best with "green" new lumber with moisture content of 15%-25%.

Not intended for use with hardwoods or Douglas Fir unless hardwood installation techniques are used as indicated in directions. Hot dip galvanized and powder coated for superior performance.

Tested and approved according to IRC (AC273) and CBC building code procedures for use in residential guards for one and two family dwellings.

Must use specified fastener package (5 x 3/8" (8mm)  x 3.5" (90mm) lag bolts plus washers and 8 x 1/4" (6mm) x 3" (75mm) screws) which are included in this package.

Max spacing between posts 1.8m.

NOTE: These anchors are suitable for 100mm x 100mm NOMINAL posts, or ~90mm x 90mm actual posts. Posts that are oversized must be planed down to suit or notched at the base to allow deck anchoring.
